Saving Lives

 Even at a Fundraiser, The Humane Society is working to save the lives of abandoned and neglected animals in the county.

This little kitten was found hiding in a flower pot next to the bank.  Thanks to the quick reflexes of the bank employees and the expertise of Linda and The Humane Society volunteers, this little one will have a safe place to sleep and plenty of food to eat!  Some rescues require time and rehabilitation prior to being ready for adoption, and this little one fits that category.

Thank You To First Mid Bank and Trust For The Successful Fundraiser!

 It was such a heartwarming experience to see the employees of First Mid Bank and Trust taking time to help The Humane Society!  They had the pleasure of bathing some adorable furry friends, and we got to meet some generous donors!  Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us today!

Still Plenty of Time for That Dog Bath!

 The employees of the First Mid Bank and Trust in Lawrenceville are still on the West side of the bank washing pups until 2:00pm today!  Go by to see them and visit with Linda and The Humane Society volunteers.  Drop off a donation and get some information on The Humane Society and upcoming events!

 Well, now you can!  We have the best Dragon in the World!  Well, he's not technically a Dragon, but that's his name because he came to us after he lost his home in a fire.  He is a 2 year old terrier mix.  This guy is looking for a forever family that will make sure he gets the love he deserves after losing so much!

Meet Slayer!

 

                                                    ADOPTED!

This handsome boy is an approximately 2 year old, bird dog mix; he weighs around 40lbs.  As you can see, he is quite the show-off!  He is good with other dogs, but he hasn't been around cats.  He is definitely a ladies' man!  Slayer was found as a stray - he is waiting for his Forever Family!

Gone Fishin'
