Lawrence County Humane Society is preparing for their Semi-Annual Pole Barn Sale!  The regular sale is Saturday, May 4th from 8:00am - 4:00pm; the "Bag Sale" is Sunday, May 5th from 12:00pm - 4:00pm.  Please note: there will be no early sales!!  

There are so many great deals to be had again this year!  We have clothes and shoes for everyone, toys, books, holiday decor, linens, dishes, electronics, jewelry, furniture, household - you name it, and we probably have at least one of it!  The prices are very affordable, so you can get everything you want and need!  If you have something particular in mind, plan to attend the Saturday sale, or it might be gone on Sunday!  Then, come back on Sunday and look for more bargains!

Again, there will be no early sales, so plan to arrive only when the sale starts at 8:00am on Saturday and 12:00pm on Sunday!

All proceeds benefit The Humane Society and are for the care of the animals.

Meet Marlowe!

 This is Marlowe!  Marlowe is athletic, active, and mischievous!  He is approximately 11 months old.  Although we aren't sure of his breed, he might be part greyhound - he's FAST!  He loves to run, and he loves to play with toys.  He is very much still a puppy and does all of the puppy things - chewing, pouncing, etc.  He will need a lot of patience and guidance to be his best self.

Double Trouble!

Let me introduce you to Larry and Barry!  These little fellows were found together.  They are about 5 months old, and it is anybody's guess what breed they are (probably Lab mix, but we're not sure!)  They will most likely be big dogs.  Both of these boys are looking for the right family to help them get a better start to life!  Larry and Barry will be available for adoption on October 7th, 2023.

 We have just the right "person"!  Purky is about 3 years old, and she is a beautiful girl just needing a fresh start.  She will need to be the only pet and would probably do better without small children.

 It's been a good Saturday at The Humane Society!  Two of our longest residents, Carly and Bandit, found their Forever Home today!  They have a loving new family to call their own!
